HEY HOPEFUL BEGINNERS! WE APPRECIATE YOU!!
I am Lakeitha M Gray, a Louisiana Board Approved Supervisor Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. Im also licensed in Mississippi. I earned my Master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling (Community Counseling) from Jackson State University. Over the last 20 years, I have gained experience working with families, couples, substance users, HIV/AIDS clients, integrative medical care, school-based settings, LGBTQI community members, local agencies, veterans, single parents, and (ex) offenders. My specialty is working with women of color, walking them through healing in a culturally competent manner.

Our Mission
HBCS mission is to provide behavioral health therapy sessions for individuals, couples, families, and small groups. HBCS aims to specialize in providing therapy for Black women and other people of color.
We believe empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental environment and temperament will immediately put you at ease to start your healing journey. Our desire is to help you create a HOPEFUL BEGINNING.
